The  Audio System Lead will:

• Oversee all aspects of audio equipment including, but not limited to refurbishment, OWO’s, training, upgrades, and improvements of equipment.

• Conduct training and knowledge transfer on equipment to other AV leads and technicians.

• Hands on development with newer employees and AV leads in a mentoring role.

• Serve as AV lead in the field for SGS, NDE, CR&R, and IBO organizations when required.

• Will work directly with Audio Equipment Owner on processes and improvements.

• Will oversee both IP and Digital Audio equipment that supports each organization.

 • Must have a basic knowledge of our Audio Equipment and setup in the field. 

• Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.  
• Conducts a variety of routine and non-routine tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance; collates data on task and outage performance.  
• Develops calculations, tables, reports and related data; maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.  
• Develops maintenance procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close out reports, as needed.  
• Participates in planning and executing projects; assists in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.
• May provide input to training materials and may conduct training, as needed.  
• Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.  
• Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.  
• May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.  
• May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access.  
• Technical  certifications to be acquired: NDE Technician II requirements met;  Tool Technician:  Must gain two additional tool technician certs and be an Assistant System Lead for a tool system;  Operator:  Must acquire two additional operator certifications;  NDE Technician:  Must record all experience gained and become LVL I in at least 2 disciplines; Leadership:  Must attend at least one leadership course per year and fill a leadership role.

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience and NDE Technician II requisites* is required.  
• *NDE Technician II requisites met: Tool Technician:  Two additional tool technician certs; Operator:  Must complete NDE117.2, NDE1150.5, NDE1320.2, NDE1110.4 or RAN100.2; NDE Technician:  Must record all experience gained and become LVL I in at least one discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field.  
• May require specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification.  
• Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs, as required for specific roles.  
• Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, convey detailed technical data and work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.

Total Rewards Package         

• Salary: $30.90 - $40.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
