What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

Join our fast‑growing Installed Base Outage Services Organization as the Technical Training Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee and advance technical training programs that support BWR, PWR, and Stearns Roger Services. You will ensure our workforce is fully qualified, prepared, and continuously developing to meet the needs of our internal teams and external customers. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 


• Lead and manage full time training staff and a team of local, part time instructors 
• Assess qualification and competency needs across the organization 
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical training programs 
• Drive continuous improvement of training content, delivery methods, and training mock ups 
• Ensure timely, high quality communication and deliverables for internal and external customers 
• Support strategic development of training capabilities aligned with business growth

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensures effective performance on moderately complex to complex technical assignments.  
  • Plans and directs the timely execution of technical activities within assigned cost center(s).  
  • Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.  
  • Develops and/or administers organization engineering standards and procedures for the group.  
  • Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.  
  • Ensures development and training of team members to optimize task results.  
  • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.  
  • Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.  
  • Works on special projects, as directed. 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 10 years related technical experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. 
  • Advanced knowledge of related technical standards, techniques and criteria.  
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.  
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.  

Total Rewards Package

         

  • Salary: $133,000 - $181,000 per year, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
