As a Safeguards Specialist - II you will be part of the nuclear Material Control and Accounting team that supports the Framatome nuclear fuel fabrication plant in Richland, WA. The level II position is intended for persons with 5+ years of MC&A experience.
The MC&A team is part of the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Licensing department that supports the fabrication of commercial nuclear fuel for both traditional light water reactors and new advanced reactors. The MC&A team ensures that nuclear material present at the Richland WA plant is accurately measured and tracked so that any losses are detected as required by federal regulations and international agreements.
