• Works from detailed programming specifications, designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software-programming applications.
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
• Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
• Provides resolution to a fundamental problem or seizes an opportunity that improves the satisfaction of a customer, user or provider.
• Explains the financial impact of a solution or a decision to assist customers in complying with budget requirements.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a technical or business discipline is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, and understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Familiarity with the stages of software development, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Basic understanding of software testing processes, including test case review, analysis, and participation in test witnessing and certification. Ability to identify and resolve basic software issues or bugs. Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, work collaboratively within a team environment. Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.

The employee must be able to:

• Salary: $80,168.00 - $92,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
