Why This Role Is Critical

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Accounts Payable Analyst & Team Lead to oversee complex outgoing payments, manage high-volume invoice processing, and drive process improvements. Acting as a work leader, you will collaborate with accounting managers, support audit requirements, ensuring compliance with company financial policies and optimal cash management.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

  • AP Operations & Leadership: Perform work leader responsibilities and reviewing data entry for accuracy.
  • Complex Invoice Processing: Process, audit, and reconcile a high volume of complex vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer invoices (including three-way matching).
  • Process Improvement: Partner with accounting managers to develop, document, and implement methods for process automation and improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Month-End & Accruals: Generate month-end accruals and perform intermediate accounting activities to support the financial close process.
  • Treasury & Audit Support: Perform Treasury administration duties, including ACH/Wire payment runs, and act as primary support for internal/external audit requirements, providing necessary backup documentation.
  • Vendor & Project Manager Relations: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve complex invoicing inquiries, disputes, and deviations from policy. 

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 4+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience, preferably within a large or international corporate environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups) and strong analytical abilities to maintain process improvement mindsets.
  • Proven ability to identify deviations from policy, resolve problems, and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage high-volume workloads, and mentor junior team members. 

Total Rewards Package

      

  • Salary: $45,000-$59,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
