What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

Under broad supervision, manages the company’s strategic, sales, marketing and business development activities for products, services, and customers for the assigned product line/portfolio. Defines and develops new product/sales opportunities to meet customer needs and makes sales presentations to generate new business. Prepares business strategy proposals for senior management for market opportunities based on market trends and forecasting. Develops and maintains customer relationships. In addition to serving as a subject matter expert for other Product Managers, the incumbent may provide supervision to less experienced team members.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and implements sales and/or marketing strategies.
  • Close new orders for North America customers.
  • Serves as the primary interface for clients in the assigned region related to the assigned portfolio.
  • Responsible to obtain committed order intake goals annually.
  • Proposes product applications and solutions so that product and service deliveries meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct sales presentations to customers and negotiate contract scope and conditions.
  • Performs opportunity identification, tracking and proposal process and recommends process changes.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships.
  • Develop economic scenarios to help top management challenge and validate key business decisions.
  • Shares information so that all business players develop a level of competencies and performance in line with customer requirements.
  • Manages estimates and facilitates contract amendments so that each deal meets the targeted level of profit margin.
  • Uses SPEAK (appointment with clients, reporting, presentation, opportunity follow up, information sharing with management and product manager).
  • Supporting the OTR team in execution of project in its region.
  • Utilizes existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Engineering, Science, Business or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of related experience, included is a minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy sector, is required or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to build trust, listen actively and tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to adjust schedules based on changing priorities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and technical proposal software.
  • Confident in navigating complex sales cycles and securing long-term contracts.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs based on evolving energy strategies and infrastructure investments.
